This is a photograph of my father and my uncle taken during the second world war. My Father Gunner William Henry George Evans Royal Artillery( on the Left) and his brother Seaman Mel Evans Royal Merchant Navy(on the right) had a chance meeting in Malta, where my father had been station during the siege of Malta(1940-43). My uncle sailed into Malta on a relief convoy hoping to see his big brother having lied about his age. which you can see from the photograph they did.
