Llangollen. The first Chain Bridge at Berwyn, built by Exuperius Pickering in 1814 to take coal across the river for delivery to Corwen and Bala. The photograph, taken around 1860, shows the original Chain Bridge Inn. Object Reference: 2000.4.42
