This post card was sent from either Belgium or France with the note "To MJ (Mary Jane) from E with love". The smaller card is kept in a pouch at the front of the postcard. Edgar Cousins of Freystrop, Pembrokeshire was wounded in 1917 at Bapaume during Battle of the Somme. He lost the full use of one arm and hand and suffered a hole left in his thigh from shrapnel.
