Dress worn by Nina Hamnett
Description
This dress was worn by Tenby born artist Nina Hamnett in 1899 when she was nine years of age. She wore it to a fancy dress party. A photograph in her autobiography, Laughing Torso, shows her wearing this dress. The dress was donated by the family of the late George Henry Booth-Clibborn, a nephew of Nina’s.
