Description

A set of tipstaffs and decorated truncheons in oak box. Origin and purpose unknown. Lid has a miniature tipstaff also lions head cape clasps attached. Decorated truncheons are from the period of George III and George IV. Large cetral tipstaff is believed to be a ceremonial piece.
