Standing second from the right in the back row is John Edwards (1871-1942) . Look carefully at the man sitting in the front holding a photo of his child. John Edwards (1871-1942), and two of his eldest sons were in the Royal Engineers. One of his sons John William Edwards died in 1919 and is buried in Dozingem Military Cemetery. This is a photograph of his other son, David (1899-1966) who was injured during the First World War, but survived.
