Gunner John Ivor Morgan, Glanfred, Llandre (731220). John was the son of John Bunce Morgan and Jane Morgan, of Glanfred, Llandre. He enlisted at Bedford into the Royal Artillery, and was posted to A Battery, 37th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. The battery formed in Egypt in September 1917, attached to the 75th Division. John was killed in action in Palestine on 19 September 1918. He is buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Egypt.
