Description

The ironworks started production in 1801 and the following year the managers house was build nearby. Nowadays it is a hotel - currently known as The Rhymney Hotel - but in the past it has been The Three Counties, named after the location on the boundary of Glamorgan, Monmouthshire and Brechnockshire.
