Bute Town in the 1960's

Description

Bute Town has been a close and friendly community since it was built in around 1830. In the 1960's like so many other areas of industrial housing, there was a possibility that Bute Town would be demolished but the importance of this development was recognised and todayit is still a strong community - with some families that can trace links back to the 1850's when their forefathersarrived here from Pembrokeshire.
