Description
Handkerchief made from a single piece of thin red silk, with a white cotton machine-made lace border. Decorated with a small hand embroidered patch worked on white muslin using coloured silk threads in a combination of satin and back stitches. The design features a basket of flowers in red, blue, yellow and green, with the inscription 'TO MY DEAR MOTHER' in red silk.
