Description

To get to Barry Island from where I was living on Jenner Road, I would always walk across the docks, through the rows of old trains. By this time in 1980, many of the older locomotives I had played on when I was younger, had gone, leaving mostly old diesel engines and the odd passenger carriage or guards van.
