Description

Aerial view of the twin lakes named after two Welsh princely brothers; Llyn Peris (middle ground) and Llyn Padarn. The town of Llanberis is on the top left of the image. To the right of the lakes are the terraces and waste tips of the disused Dinorwic Slate Quarry. The buildings and yard of the quarry near the lakes now house the National Slate Museum of Wales.
