Aerial view of the Great Orme lighthouse was built in 1862 and was the highest lighthouse in Wales. The lighthouse wa s37feet high and built on a cliff 325feet above sea level and could be seen for about 21 miles. In 1985, the lighthouse ceased to function and is now open as a luxury hotel.
