Aerial view of the Menai Straits and its western entrance between the Isle of Anglesey to the left and the Welsh Mainland on the right. Fort belan, built during the American Civil War to protect merchant ships from maurauding Confederate pirates, can be seen on the small promontary to the right which formd part of Dinas Dinlle. Taken 26 June 2005.
