Description

Here we see the second of two Stone Age monoliths which have marked this mountain pass of Bwlch-y-Ddaufaen for millenia. Located to the west of the Conwy Valley, the old Roman road now follows what must have been an older trackway from Tal-y-Cafn crossing (historically the lowest river crossing of the Conwy) from Canovium to Segontium. Taken 21 April 2009.
