Description
Edgar Wynn Williams from Llanelli joined the Army Service Corps as a driver. In this section of his diary he is moved to the army base in Farnham, where he was supplied with a rifle and other equipment, and assigned as an ambulance driver to the South African Expeditionary Force. Edgar's unit marched the 12 miles to Farnborough, seeing aeroplanes on the way.api ref:WVP10014
