Edgar Wynn Williams Diary, 14-22 Feb 1916

Description

Edgar Wynn Williams from Llanelli joined the Army Service Corps as a drive. In this section of his diary he describes watching some rugby (the SAMC lost against the SA Scotch) and attending church in Alexandria. He met some Royal Welch Fusiliers close to camp and spoke Welsh with them, and then he notes that the RWF were posted elsewhere and soldiers from the West Indian Battalion arrived.api ref:WVP10039
