Description

Notebook of Eliza Alexander of Cardiff in which she noted details of her two sons war service. Her elder son, David Alexander was called up at age 18 in 1917 on 16th April to the Border Regiment. He served in France. He was wounded on 21 March 1918 but returned to action in Sep 1918. Victor Alexander served in the Merchant army. Also, a family friend, John Fowler was taken prisoner in may 1918.
