My late mother, Elizabeth Ann Davies, aged 15 and 8 months stands outside her home in Magor Street, Newport. She is dressed as a South Seas girl to celebrate the coronation of Queen II. Note the card in her parents' front window with ER and what looks like a teapot. My gran Hilda Davies undoubtedly made her outfit.
