Letters from a Japanese POW Ivor David of Porthcawl in 1945
The letters are written in pencil on the back of some older family photographs in the possession of Airman David. The earlier dates in ink refers to the location and date of the photograph on the other side
He was a prisoner in Java at a forced labour mining camp of the Mitsubishi mine at Ikuno, Osaka on mainland Japan.. he returned to the Uk at the end of the war.
