William Parkes
Description
1892 – 1918
He joined up in 1915 as part of the Royal Horse Artillery. He was killed in the Battle of the Somme in 1918. (Uncle of Thomas Parkes and Great-Uncle to Leslie, Ken, David and Dale Parkes)
