Inscription: SACRED TO/ The Memory of/ RICHARD EVANS/ of Syfydrin in this Parish./ Who departed this life May 5th/ A.D. 1839 Aged 74 years/ Dym'r fan lle y gorweddaf yn fy nistaw wely pridd/ Gyda'r meirw yn gydraddol hyd foreu'r adgyfodiad.
