New Zealand hosted the 2011 tournament, and the event engulfed the country. This was the tournament the All Blacks had to win. After falling short in four tournaments, this time a whole
nation expected.
New Zealand delivered! Led by the great Richie McCaw, the home team narrowly beat France in a tense Final at Eden Park, Auckland. Finally, the All Blacks were once again World Champions.
