Description

People's Collection Wales staff digitising the WRU archive at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Here seen photographing a rugby shirt belonging to Edward John Richard Thomas, a forward who gained 4 caps against South Africa in 1906, France in 1908, Ireland in 1908 and Scotland in 1908.
He lost his life in action at Mametz Wood during the WW1 Battle of the Somme.
