Description

Silver Cup, marking the christening of Michael David Duncan Crichton-Stuart, the son of Lord Ninian Crichton- Stuart.

The cup is engraved with the words "The Welsh. Michael Duncan David Crichton-Stuart from the officers of the Sixth Welsh on Active Service, France, March 14th 1915".

The bowl was likely to have been labelled a porringer. It bears the emblem of the Welsh Regiment.
