First World War Postcard

Description

Embroidered postcard. Postcard from France, sent by Private Peter "Paddy" Mullaen of the 16th Service (Cardiff City) Battalion to his wife who lived at 305 Portmanamoor Rd, East Moors (Splott), Cardiff.

The embroidered postcards were a common souvenir from France. They give us an insight into the everyday experiences of men on the front line and their families.
