Description

Replica Roman dice box and die. Roman dice were like modern dice: Opposite faces add up to seven. Try it. One is opposite six, three is opposite four and five is opposite two.

To ensure fair play a dice box like this would be used. The die is dropped into the box at the top. The die roles down the internal ladder and its fate is only determined by Fortuna (goddess of fortune, associated with luck and fate).
