Swansea County Borough Police memorabilia

Description

A group of items that formerly belonged to retired Police Constable Adrian Crocker. Adrian joined the Swansea County Borough Police in the 1950's. as Constable 107 of the 'A' Division.

In 1969, Swansea Police was amalgamated with Glamorgan Constabulary, Cardiff City Police and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Police to form the South Wales Constabulary.

The items are his Swansea Police helmets, cape, police whistle, an Air Raid Precautions (A.R.P.) whistle with original shoulder lanyard, buttons, collar badges and a World War II Swansea Police War Reserve lapel badge, and his issue key & fob for the Police Boxes that at one time were located across the county borough. .

All of these items have been added to my Welsh.police memorabilia collection.
