A photograph, mounted on card of the Police Driving Instructors of the South Wales Constabulary. Taken in 1974, the South Wales Constabulary at that time was recognised as one of the top police driving schools in Britain.

The photo was taken in front of the Driving School building at, Police Headquarters, Cowbridge Road, Bridgend. The driving school of that time had a number of classrooms, administration offices and accommodation rooms. The accomodation was for officers across South Wales as well as other Welsh police forces who, instead of having to travel home every day (or too far from home), were residential for the duration of their driving course.
