Description

A pre 1953 Kings Crown helmet plate for the former. Flintshire Constabulary was the Home Office police force for the county of Flintshire, from 1856 until 1967.

In 1965, the force had an establishment of 256 but its actual strength was 231.The force amalgamated with Denbighshire Constabulary and Gwynedd Constabulary in 1967 to form a new Gwynedd Constabulary.

In 1974, Gwynedd Constabulary was renamed North Wales Police.
