A traditional Welsh love song. Another gem from from the Maria Jane Williams 'Ancient National Airs of Gwent and Morganwg'. As well as being popular in Glamorgan, it was also well known in the North but with different lyrics. The verses heres are attributed to Dafydd Nicolas, an 18th century poet. Sung by Heather Jones, accompanied by Chris Jones on guitar, as part of the Alawon Fy Ngwlad joint project between trac, Caerphilly County Borough Council and Menter Caerffili.
