Description

Traditional Welsh folk song. This song was collected in Dwyran, Anglesey and first published in 1914 by Grace Gwyneddon Davies. Originally, there were numerous different tunes with this title, though this version with its Christmas connotations has become the standard one. Sung by Heather Jones, accompanied by Chris Jones on guitar, as part of the Alawon Fy Ngwlad joint project between trac, Caerphilly County Borough Council and Menter Caerffili.
