Peace and Goodwill Message 1953.
Themes (like 1952): greetings of freedom and friendship, efforts to set world free from war, hope to prevent world of destroyed homes and hungry children, no nation to fear another nation, trust and sharing earth’s resources, inspire through thought and deed, gaining peace is great adventure.
Quote: “We want a world in which never again shall countless homes be destroyed and little children suffer hunger. We want a world where no nation shall live in fear of any other nation. We want a world where the nations shall work together for the good of all, trusting each other and sharing together the riches of the earth.”
