A photograph of Police Constable 479 Charles Shellum of the Glamorgan Constabulary. (I also have a very big oak framed and glazed illuminated address to him of 1913).

The uniform Divisional letter shows 'B' or Pontypridd Division, Was taken when he was area policeman for the cottage station at Upper Boat, near Pontypridd.

On the back of this card mounted photo is PC Shellum, Police Station, Bryncethin, Tondu (which was 'C' or Bridgend Division. Its dated July 17, 1917.

Not aware of his full service history. However, records do show that in 1904 he was stationed at Pontypridd.

Believe that he was transferred from Upper Boat to Bryncethin at about 1913.
