Cardiff Borough Police tunic button
Description
A 1" wide Victorian era (c.1875) button from a tunic of the former Cardiff Borough Police.
Displayed in the centre of the button is the former Borough coat of arms, which were changed when Cardiff was granted City status in 1905.
The back is stamped with the makers details.......Smith of Derby.
