Description

A comparison of badges as worn by senior officers (Inspector and above) and ranks of Constable and Sergeant.

The badge to the left is that of a senior officer. Higher quality and constructed from solid silver, with hallmarks for 1939.

From the same period (badge to the right) is one of a similar design, but a lower quality than the silver one's. Chromium plated metal and worn by Constable's and Sergeant's.
