Pancake Pudding
Description
Ingredients
short-crust pastry
sultanas
one pint sweetened batter (see pancake mixture)
a little butter
Method
Line a pie dish with the pastry and cover it with a layer of sultanas.
Then pour in the batter mixture and dot it with butter.
Bake in a moderately hot oven for about one hour.
Generally, this pudding, prepared in greater quantities, would be baked along with the bread in the wall oven.
