St Therese's Roman Catholic Church, with its modern fan-shaped interior, opened in September with a Mass and Blessing conducted by His Grace the Most Reverend John A Murphy the Catholic Archbishop of Cardiff. A year earlier the first Parish Priest, Father Sean Kearney, had been appointed.
