A man in army uniform photographed with, presumably, his wife or sweetheart. No regimental insignia are discernible though he has a medal ribbon on his tunic. This appears to be three light coloured stripes on a darker background. This could possibly be the African General Service Medal or a Naval General Service medal. His wife/ sweetheart has a military badge pinned to her blouse. This is possibly a Royal Artillery badge, but the badge is seen at an angle and partly obscured.
