Description

Ferry Cottages, later became Ferry House and is now demolished. This is where the family who ran the Laugharne - Llansteffan ( Black Scar) ferry lived. The estuary and part of the Strand is visible in the background. On the Llansteffan side of the estuary, but not in shot, the ruins of the old Bell House are still visible It was built in 1890 with the support of Laugharne Corporation and paid for by Lady Kaye of Cliff House in memory of her husband, Sir John Kaye.
