Bronze memorial plaque, often known as the 'Dead Man's Penny'. Private Thomas William Hickson of the 2nd Battalion Cheshire Regiment. Inscription: 'HE DIED FOR FREEDOM AND HONOUR. THOMAS WILLIAM HICKSON'. Thomas Hickson died on the 6 March 1915 and is buried at Tredegar, Monmouthshire.
