Description
Bronze memorial plaque, often known as the 'Dead Man's Penny'. Possibly Private Frederick Spiller of the South Wales Borderers (or to Gunner Frederick Spiller of the Royal Garrison Artillery). Inscription: 'HE DIED FOR FREEDOM AND HONOUR. FREDERICK SPILLER'. Private Frederick Spiller died on the 28 September 1915 at Loos.
