Police Long Service & Good Conduct medal
Description
The Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is a decoration for police officers of the United Kingdom. It was first instituted in 1951. The medal is presented following twenty aggregate years of service in the police services of the United Kingdom. This medal was presented to the late Inspector Dennis Leach. Dennis initially joined the Glamorgan Constabulary which later become South Wales Constabulary. On retirement he was stationed at Ferndale Police Station, in the 'B' or Pontypridd Division of the force. Part of the Ross Mather Police Memorabilia of Wales Collection
