Notebook belonging to Miss Flora Phryswith Matthews of Ty-Nant, St Fagans. She worked as a nurse at the 3rd Western General Hospital, Cardiff, and was also a member of the St Fagans Voluntary Aid Detachment.

The notebook contains handwritten recipes. On 6 January 1914, Phryswith attended a lecture on 'invalid cookery', her notes from this lecture are in the notebook.
