The Western end of the high level sidings at No 1 dock, Barry. The tall chimney in the left background is the West Hydraulic Pumping Station, the structure with the horizontal bar on the top is the Hydraulic Accumulator, which maintained hydraulic pressure for the dock equipment, in the right background the various buildings of the Barry Railway Locomotive Works. The curved tracks in the background lead to the two most Westerly coal tips on No. 1 dock. The date is probably 1930s.
