Description

Known locally as Maen Ceti meaning Arthur's Stone, this is a Neolithis burial chamber and is one of the first sites to be protected under the Ancient Monument Act of 1882. The cap stone is made of a 25 ton quartz conglomerate boulder. The name derives from the legend that King Arthur threw a large stone from Llanelli that landed on this spot.
