Margam Park, Chapter House and Cloisters

Description

The Norman Abbey was founded in the mid 12th Century and was a religious centre of major importance in South Wales up until its dissolution at the hands of Henry VIII. The remains of the Abbey are extensive, the ruined twelve sided chapter house being of exceptional architectural quality.
