Description

As the furniture was taken out, layers of history were revealed to us and no more so that behind the Cloc Tywydd (Barometer). The 26 layers of wallpaper in the Cegin can be read like a fossil for Yr Ysgwrn’s history. Interestingly the wall behind the dresser was bear, suggesting that this piece of furniture was carefully wedged under the beams before the date of the first layer of paper.
