Letter to his mother by Thomas Benbow Phillips. December 4, 1867
Description
A letter from T B Phillips to his mother thanking her for her letter and expressing his pleasure that she had arrived safely and had a warm welcome. Everyone here is in good health and send you their regards. Goes on to mention speaking to the Doyle girl. Was expecting to go to the Rio Grande next Monday but if possible would like to hear more about the matter under discussion. The market there very poor and unable to see better days. Don't know if you can understand the letter, so you will have to study it. Sends his regards from her loving son, wants to be remembered to everybody.
