Brazilian Ligation, 11 January 1849
The Brazilian Minister wished to acknowledge the receipt of a letter from Thomas Benbow Phillips, but unfortunately could not provide him with more information at present about the law relating to Colonisation. The gentleman in question who replied did not have the authority to relay the information to him.
